Chasing a daunting target of 205 runs set by Karachi Kings, the Multan Sultans crumbled for just 117 in 16.1 overs. Kamran Ghulam scored 29 while Yasir Khan added 26 runs — the only two notable contributions with the bat. Curtis Campher chipped in with 12, while Chris Jordan and Ubaid Shah managed 14 each. The rest of the batting lineup failed to reach double figures, with skipper Mohammad Rizwan and David Willey dismissed for ducks.
Karachi Kings’ bowling attack was led by Mohammad Nabi, who claimed 3 wickets. Khushdil Shah and Mir Hamza took 2 wickets each, while Abbas Afridi and Aamer Jamal picked up one apiece.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat first, Karachi Kings posted a massive total of 204/4 in their 20 overs. James Vince anchored the innings with a brilliant 65, supported by Irfan Khan (40), Khushdil Shah (33), captain David Warner (30), and Tim Seifert (22).
For Multan, Ubaid Shah was the pick of the bowlers with 2 wickets, while Campher and Willey took one each.
With this emphatic victory, Karachi Kings have kept their playoff hopes alive, while Multan Sultans bow out of PSL 10.
