
Lahore: The 10th season of the Pakistan Super League saw another weather interruption as the match between Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium was abandoned due to heavy rain and strong winds.
Lahore Qalandars were batting first after being invited by Quetta and had reached 111 for 3 in 11.3 overs when the match was halted. Despite a promising start, persistent rain meant no further play was possible, and the game was officially declared a no result.
As a result, both teams were awarded one point each.
Lahore Qalandars have now played 8 matches in the tournament, winning 4 and losing 3, with one game abandoned. They currently sit at second place on the points table with 9 points.
Quetta Gladiators, on the other hand, have played 7 matches so far, winning 4 and losing 2, with one game ending without a result. They also have 9 points and hold third place on the table due to net run rate.
