The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest Test player rankings, with several changes in positions across batting and bowling charts.
In the batting rankings, England’s Joe Root has retained his position at the top, continuing his consistent form in red-ball cricket. Notably, no Pakistani batter features in the top 10 of the latest rankings. Pakistan’s Saud Shakeel is currently ranked 11th, followed by Mohammad Rizwan at 14th and Babar Azam at 20th.
In the bowling rankings, India’s pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah holds the number one spot, reflecting his dominance in recent Test performances. Pakistan’s left-arm spinner Nauman Ali has made a strong impression, climbing to 6th place—a rare top-10 entry for a Pakistani bowler in recent years.
One of the biggest movers in the rankings is Zimbabwe’s fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani, who jumped 14 places to 15th after an impressive display in his recent outings.
