Lahore: In Match 18 of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, the Quetta Gladiators registered a dominant 10-wicket win over the Multan Sultans at Gaddafi Stadium.
After winning the toss, the Quetta Gladiators elected to field first. The decision paid off immediately as Multan Sultans’ batting lineup collapsed in dramatic fashion, managing only 89 runs in 17 overs. Skipper Mohammad Rizwan was the lone standout, remaining unbeaten on 44, while none of the other batters reached double figures—highlighting Quetta’s clinical bowling performance.
Rizwan also became the first player in PSL history to “carry the bat” through an entire innings, a rare feat in T20 cricket.
For Quetta, Khurram Shahzad was the star with the ball, picking up four wickets. Faheem Ashraf and Wasim Jr. contributed with two wickets each, further dismantling the Multan batting order.
In response, Quetta chased down the 90-run target in just seven overs without losing a wicket. Opener Finn Allen smashed 45 runs, while captain Saud Shakeel added an unbeaten 42, completing a flawless run chase.
