Lahore: In Match 18 of HBL PSL Season 10, Quetta Gladiators delivered a commanding performance to defeat Multan Sultans by 10 wickets, securing a crucial two points and moving up to second place on the points table.
The match was played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where Quetta won the toss and chose to field first. Their bowlers made full use of the conditions, completely dismantling Multan’s batting lineup for just 89 runs in 17 overs. It was a disappointing show from Multan, with none of their batters except captain Mohammad Rizwan managing to withstand the bowling pressure.
Quetta Gladiators chased down the modest target of 90 runs in just the seventh over without losing a wicket, showcasing their batting dominance and earning a convincing win.
With this result, the PSL 10 points table has seen a major shake-up. Islamabad United remain at the top with 10 points from five consecutive wins. Quetta Gladiators now sit in second place with 8 points from four wins in six matches.
