
Lahore: In a vibrant celebration blending cricket, music, and culture, a grand reception was held at the historic Lahore Fort in honor of the six participating teams of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. The event was hosted under the glittering lights of the fort and featured traditional music, royal hospitality, and warm Pakistani flair.
Players and officials from the international squads were welcomed in true Mughal style with a royal reception at the Alamgiri Gate, where PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi personally greeted the guests. He also posed for group photos with the teams, marking the beginning of what was an unforgettable evening.
The night was filled with cultural richness as traditional drummers from the Dholichi group delivered an electrifying performance that enthralled the crowd. Many of the foreign players joined in the celebration, joyfully dancing to the beats of the dhol, adding a vibrant energy to the atmosphere.
