
DUBAI: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the latest One Day International (ODI) player rankings, with notable shifts across batting, bowling, and all-rounder categories.
In the ODI batting rankings, India’s Shubman Gill has retained his position at the top. Pakistan’s Babar Azam remains close behind in second place. Indian skipper Rohit Sharma is ranked third, followed by South Africa’s Heinrich Klaasen in fourth, and veteran Indian batter Virat Kohli in fifth.
Among Pakistani batters, Mohammad Rizwan has moved up two places to 21st, showing steady improvement, while Fakhar Zaman has slipped two positions, now sitting at 23rd.
On the bowling front, Sri Lanka’s Maheesh Theekshana holds firm at the top of the ODI rankings. India’s Kuldeep Yadav remains second. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan has climbed one spot to fifth, while New Zealand’s Mitchell Santner has dropped two places to sixth.
From Pakistan, Shaheen Shah Afridi has slipped one position to 12th, and Haris Rauf has fallen two spots to 24th in the updated rankings.
In the all-rounders’ category, Afghanistan’s Azmatullah Omarzai continues to dominate, maintaining his number one ranking.
