During the final ODI match between Pakistan and New Zealand, an unfortunate incident occurred involving two Afghan spectators and Pakistani cricketer Khushdil Shah. According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) spokesperson, the altercation began when the foreign fans allegedly used inappropriate language directed toward players on the field.
The situation escalated when anti-Pakistan slogans were shouted from the stands, prompting Khushdil Shah to request the individuals to refrain from using such remarks. In response, the Afghan spectators reportedly hurled further abusive language in Pashto and attempted to physically confront the Pakistani player.
