Peshawar’s highly anticipated PSL 10 exhibition match, scheduled for April 8, is now facing uncertainty due to inadequate facilities at the newly renovated Arbab Niaz Stadium. According to sources, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has expressed dissatisfaction with the stadium’s outfield and pitches, raising concerns about the venue’s readiness.
Reports indicate that the match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators might be canceled due to the poor quality of the outfield, substandard pitches, and lack of essential amenities in the dressing rooms. A PCB inspection team has already submitted its report highlighting these shortcomings.
The board has reportedly urged the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to expedite the completion of necessary upgrades on an urgent basis. If the required improvements are not made in time, the exhibition match could be called off, disappointing cricket fans eagerly waiting for PSL action in Peshawar.
