
The Pakistan Women’s National Selection Committee has announced a 15-member squad for the upcoming ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup Qualifier, scheduled to take place from April 9 to 19 at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground in Lahore.
The squad was selected based on players’ fitness and form, which were assessed during the second phase of the preparation camp. Players actively participated in warm-up matches and practice sessions before the final selection.
Fatima Sana, who has previously led Pakistan in six T20Is and two ODIs, will continue to captain the team in this 50-over event.

Fatima Sana (Captain), Muneeba Ali (Vice-Captain), Aliya Riaz, Diana Baig, Gul Feroza, Najiha Alvi (Wicketkeeper), Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Pervaiz, Omaima Sohail, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Shawal Zulfiqar, Sidra Ameen, Sidra Nawaz (Wicketkeeper), and Syeda Aroob Shah.
Reserve Players:
Ghulam Fatima, Waheeda Akhtar, Umm-e-Hani.
The six-team ICC event will feature Pakistan, Bangladesh, Ireland, Scotland, Thailand, and the West Indies in a single round-robin league format. A total of 15 matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium and LCCA Ground in Lahore.
Pakistan will play its opening match against Ireland at Gaddafi Stadium.
