Lahore: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) marked Childhood Cancer Awareness Day during the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 clash between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United.
Held at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, the initiative aimed to spread awareness about childhood cancer and show support for young patients battling the disease.
As part of the awareness campaign, three young cancer patients were invited as special guests and honored on the field. Captains Saud Shakeel (Quetta Gladiators) and Shadab Khan (Islamabad United) took time to play cricket with the children in a heartwarming gesture.
Players from both sides also posed for photos with the children and presented them with signed jerseys, creating memorable moments that celebrated courage, compassion, and the spirit of the game.
