LAHORE: Quetta Gladiators’ fast bowler Khurram Shahzad praised the experience and guidance of Mohammad Amir, stating that he frequently seeks advice from the seasoned pacer due to his vast experience in leagues around the world.
Speaking at a press conference, Khurram shared his aspirations to represent Pakistan in both T20 and ODI formats. “My current focus is fully on the Pakistan Super League (PSL),” he said. “When the next series comes around, I will think about it then.”
Khurram noted that since arriving in Lahore, his team has shown improved performance. Reflecting on his recovery, he said, “Injuries are part of a fast bowler’s life, but thankfully, I’ve overcome mine and am back in rhythm.”
When asked about leadership, Khurram had high praise for both Babar Azam and Saud Shakeel. “Both are excellent captains,” he remarked. “There isn’t much difference between the two in terms of leadership—they bring calmness and clarity to the field.”
