
Lahore: In the 17th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Quetta Gladiators secured a commanding 64-run victory over Peshawar Zalmi at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and invited Quetta Gladiators to bat first. Setting a solid foundation, Quetta posted 178 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
The innings was opened by Captain Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen. The partnership was broken at 46 runs when Finn Allen was dismissed after scoring 31 runs. Rilee Rossouw contributed 27 runs, while Saud Shakeel and Kusal Mendis both scored 32 runs each. Mark Chapman added a valuable 33 runs. Other contributions included Hasan Nawaz with 8 runs, while Faheem Ashraf was dismissed for just 1 run.
From Peshawar Zalmi’s side, Alzarri Joseph was the pick of the bowlers, taking 3 wickets. Saim Ayub chipped in with 2 wickets, and Luke Wood claimed 1 wicket.
