
Lahore: In the 16th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Lahore Qalandars secured a thrilling 5-wicket victory over Multan Sultans.
The match was played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium, where Lahore Qalandars won the toss and elected to field first. Batting first, Multan Sultans posted a competitive total of 185 runs for the loss of 3 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.
Captain Mohammad Rizwan led the charge with a solid knock of 76 runs, while Kamran Ghulam contributed an unbeaten 52 runs to strengthen the total. For Lahore Qalandars, Tom Curran, Haris Rauf, and Daryl Mitchell each took one wicket.
Chasing a target of 186, Lahore Qalandars reached the mark in 19 overs, losing 5 wickets along the way. Daryl Mitchell starred with a brilliant innings of 64 runs, while Sikandar Raza remained unbeaten on 40. Abdullah Shafique also played a key role, scoring 34 runs.
For Multan Sultans, Ubaid Shah managed to claim two wickets but couldn’t stop Lahore’s momentum.
