Multan: Islamabad United claimed a convincing 7-wicket victory over Multan Sultans in the 13th match of HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, held in Multan.
Multan Sultans’ captain Mohammad Rizwan won the toss and opted to bat first. The team posted a total of 168/5 in their 20 overs. Notable contributions came from Usman Khan, who top-scored with 61 runs, followed by Mohammad Rizwan with 36 and Yasir Khan, who added 29 runs.
For Islamabad United, bowlers Jason Holder, Mohammad Nawaz, and Shadab Khan took one wicket each, helping restrict the Sultans to a chaseable target.
In response, Islamabad United successfully chased down the 169-run target in the 18th over, losing just three wickets. The standout performer was Andre Gous, who remained unbeaten on 80 runs off 45 balls, playing a match-winning knock.
Supporting him at the top were Colin Munro, who scored 45 runs; Sahibzada Farhan, with 22; and Mohammad Nawaz, who chipped in with an unbeaten 21 runs to seal the win.
