Former Test cricketer Tamim Iqbal was rushed to the hospital after experiencing chest pain during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match.
According to media reports, Tamim felt discomfort while playing in the DPL match between Mohammedan and Shinepukur. Due to his condition, immediate medical assistance was provided, and arrangements were made to airlift him to the hospital as he was unable to travel from the BKS Ground by road.
The match referee confirmed that Tamim Iqbal was taken to Fazilatunnessa Hospital for further medical evaluation.
