Lahore: The highly anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 is all set to kick off today with a colorful opening ceremony scheduled to take place at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The festivities will begin at 7 PM, featuring dazzling performances by renowned Pakistani singers and artists, setting the tone for a thrilling cricket season ahead.
Following the ceremony, the tournament opener will see defending champions Islamabad United go head-to-head with Lahore Qalandars under the floodlights at the same venue.
As preparations for the event intensify, the Islamabad traffic police have implemented a special plan to manage the expected traffic surge. Over 300 personnel have been deployed to ensure smooth traffic flow around the city.
Key routes such as Murree Road (from Serena to Faizabad) will remain partially closed, while strict security measures are in place on Expressway, Murree Road, Faisal Avenue, and Srinagar Highway.
Commuters heading towards Blue Area are advised to use the H-8 underpass, while those traveling to sectors I and H should opt for IJP Road and its service roads. Travelers heading towards Bari Imam are recommended to use NADRA Chowk.
