Pakistani mountaineer Shehroze Kashif has expressed disappointment over not receiving any national recognition despite his remarkable achievements in the field of mountaineering.
Taking to social media with the hashtags #CivilAward and #PakistanDay, Shehroze highlighted his record-breaking feats, stating, “I am proud to have achieved four Guinness World Records. By the age of 22, I had successfully climbed all 14 peaks above 8,000 meters.”
Shehroze Kashif further mentioned that he is the second Pakistani and the youngest climber to conquer all these towering summits.
However, despite his extraordinary accomplishments, Shehroze expressed disappointment over the lack of official acknowledgment. “I have been waiting for a national civil award for the past four years. Every time, my name is removed at the last moment,” he revealed.
The young mountaineer admitted that his enthusiasm has dimmed due to the continuous neglect but reaffirmed his determination to continue his journey. “My passion has faded, but my resolve remains strong,” he stated.
On March 23, Pakistan Day, Shehroze graciously congratulated those who were honored with awards, despite his own disappointment.
