Lahore Qalandars have officially appointed Russell Domingo as their head coach for HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10.
The South African coach replaces Darren Gough, who had to withdraw due to personal reasons, as confirmed by the Lahore Qalandars management.
Domingo brings vast international coaching experience, having previously served as the head coach of South Africa and Bangladesh’s national teams.
Expressing his excitement, Russell Domingo stated, “I am thrilled to be part of Lahore Qalandars and can’t wait to start working with the players and management.”
Lahore Qalandars’ COO, Sameen Rana, welcomed the new coach, saying, “We are delighted to have Russell Domingo join the Qalandars family. His experience at the international level and his ability to develop players make him a valuable asset for our team.”
Sameen Rana further added, “We are confident that under Domingo’s leadership, Lahore Qalandars will continue to perform at the highest level.”
Lahore Qalandars will begin their PSL 10 campaign on April 11, facing Islamabad United in Rawalpindi.
