Babar Azam fought hard with 78 runs, while Salman Ali Agha contributed 58 runs, but the rest of the batting lineup failed to deliver. Six Pakistani batters couldn’t even reach double figures, exposing the team’s ongoing batting woes.
Pakistan’s bowling attack also failed to make an impact, allowing New Zealand to post an imposing total.
After losing the T20I series 4-1, Pakistan now trails 1-0 in the ODI series, adding to their recent poor performances.
