Former Bangladesh cricket captain Tamim Iqbal has been discharged from the hospital following significant improvement in his health.
A few days ago, Tamim suffered a heart attack during a Dhaka Premier League (DPL) match and was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital for emergency medical care.
He underwent angioplasty at a hospital in Savar, near Dhaka. As his condition improved, Tamim was later shifted to a hospital in Dhaka city for further monitoring.
With a steady recovery, doctors allowed him to leave the hospital on Friday. Medical experts are optimistic that Tamim Iqbal will soon return to cricket.
