
Lahore: Lahore Qalandars stormed into the final of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 with a commanding 95-run victory over Islamabad United in the second eliminator played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Batting first, Lahore Qalandars posted a competitive total of 202/8. Kusal Perera starred with a fluent 61-run knock, while Mohammad Naeem contributed a valuable 50 runs. Abdullah Shafique (25) and Bhanuka Rajapaksa (22) also chipped in with important runs. For United, Tymal Mills took 3 wickets, Salman Irshad claimed 2, while Imad Wasim and James Neesham picked up one wicket each.
In response, defending champions Islamabad United crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for just 107 runs. Salman Ali Agha top-scored with 33, while captain Shadab Khan added 26 runs.
Lahore’s bowling attack was ruthless, led by Shaheen Shah Afridi, Salman Mirza, and Rashid Hussain, who each took 3 wickets to dismantle the opposition.
With this win, Lahore Qalandars secured their place in the PSL 10 Final, where they will face Quetta Gladiators on Sunday night at 7:30 PM at the same venue.
