Dubai: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) have successfully reached an agreement, confirming that the Bangladesh national cricket team will tour Pakistan for a T20I series.
The breakthrough came after a crucial meeting in Dubai between PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and BCB Chairman Faruq Ahmed. The long negotiations concluded with a decision that Bangladesh will play a three-match T20I series in Lahore.
Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed his gratitude to the BCB for finalizing the tour, stating that the agreement reflects mutual respect and cooperation between the two boards.
Sources revealed that earlier, Bangladeshi players were hesitant to travel to Pakistan due to Indian media propaganda. In response, Naqvi made a special one-day trip to Dubai to personally engage with BCB officials. After several hours of talks, the PCB successfully convinced Bangladesh to proceed with the tour.
The official schedule and match dates are expected to be announced within the next couple of days.
