South African batter Rassie van der Dussen has officially confirmed his availability for the remainder of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 10, joining Islamabad United for the upcoming matches.
Van der Dussen had initially opted out of the tournament after being picked in the draft, citing personal reasons. However, he has now communicated his willingness to rejoin the squad, and Islamabad United has welcomed the decision with enthusiasm.
A spokesperson for the franchise stated, “We’re delighted to welcome a world-class player like Rassie van der Dussen to the PSL. His inclusion will add great value to the team.”
Islamabad United had already announced the return of Alex Hales for the remaining fixtures, further strengthening their lineup.
The PSL 10 was temporarily suspended due to rising tensions between Pakistan and India, but following a ceasefire, the league is set to resume from May 17 to May 25. The first match back will feature Peshawar Zalmi vs. Karachi Kings at the Rawalpindi Stadium.
