After a temporary suspension due to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan, the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 is set to resume on May 17. Encouragingly, several foreign players have agreed to return to Pakistan to participate in the remaining fixtures.
The league was halted following India’s aggressive actions under the guise of a false flag operation in Pahalgam and subsequent military strikes. However, after the successful Operation Bunyad-e-Marsous by Pakistan’s armed forces and a mutual ceasefire agreement, PSL is now back on track.
According to reports, international stars have expressed readiness to rejoin their teams. Notably, England’s Alex Hales has confirmed his participation, stating, “Playing in Pakistan is always an honor.” Hales is representing Islamabad United, the defending champions, who require just one more win to progress to the next stage.
The league will resume from the point it was paused, with the final scheduled to be held in Lahore.
