In light of escalating tensions between Pakistan and India, the federal government of Pakistan has made a significant decision to relocate all remaining matches of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10 to the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Initially, the matches were to be moved to Karachi, but following a drone attack incident in the city, authorities decided it was no longer a viable option. PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi condemned the alleged targeting of the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, calling it an “irresponsible act” by India aimed at disrupting the league.
Naqvi emphasized that the well-being and mental peace of players—both international and domestic—was the top priority. He stated, “India’s actions appear to be part of a broader plan to sabotage the PSL. We are committed to ensuring the safety of everyone involved.”
The PSL qualifiers, eliminators, and the final will now take place in the UAE, with new match dates to be announced soon by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). The board has officially confirmed changes to the schedule.
