In-form batter Sahibzada Farhan has been selected for PSL 10 after his outstanding performances in domestic cricket.
Islamabad United has added Farhan as their 20th squad member for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.
Farhan’s PSL journey began in 2018 with Islamabad United, where he joined as an emerging player and played a crucial role in United’s second PSL title victory.
Islamabad United head coach Mike Hesson expressed confidence in Sahibzada Farhan, stating that his experience and current form make him a valuable addition to the squad and a potential pick for the playing XI.
Hesson emphasized that Islamabad United has always supported domestic talent, and Farhan’s inclusion aligns with their long-standing policy of giving opportunities to top-performing players.
On his return, Sahibzada Farhan expressed his excitement, stating that it is an honor to rejoin his first PSL franchise. He also acknowledged Islamabad United’s role in introducing him to PSL and expressed gratitude for the opportunity.
Recently, Farhan set a new national record in the National T20 Cup, scoring the most runs in a single edition of the tournament.
The PSL 10 season is set to kick off on April 11, with matches scheduled to take place in Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi until May 18.
