
Lahore: Pakistan’s fast bowler Haris Rauf is likely to be included in the squad for the upcoming ODI series against New Zealand. According to PCB sources, the team management has requested Haris Rauf’s inclusion in the ODI squad, and discussions are underway regarding his selection. An official announcement is expected soon.
Additionally, selectors are also considering Usman Khan as a backup wicketkeeper for the ODI series. However, a final decision on his inclusion will be made in due course.
Currently, nine players from Pakistan’s ODI squad have already arrived in Napier, while the remaining squad members and support staff are scheduled to travel from Wellington to Napier tomorrow.
The ODI series between Pakistan and New Zealand will kick off on March 29 (Saturday) in Napier, with the remaining matches set to take place on April 2 and April 5.
