
Adelaide: Pakistan’s rising squash star Ashab Irfan has advanced to the final of the South Australian Squash Championship, continuing his impressive run in the tournament.
In the semi-final clash, Ashab faced fellow Pakistani Hamza Khan and secured a commanding 3-0 victory, dominating with scores of 11-3, 11-8, and 11-7.
Top-seeded in the tournament, Ashab Irfan displayed excellent form and composure to outclass his opponent in straight games.
He will now face Duncan Lee of Malaysia in the championship final.
The tournament is currently being held in Adelaide, Australia, with a total prize pool of $9,000.
Ashab’s performance is another promising sign for Pakistan’s squash revival on the international stage.
