Lahore Qalandars’ all-rounder David Wiese has commended the security arrangements in Pakistan, saying he never felt unsafe during his time in the country — even amid heightened tensions between Pakistan and India.
Speaking about the recent airspace concerns and political tension, Wiese stated, “Despite the circumstances, we were kept fully informed and provided with top-class security throughout. I’ve always felt safe in Pakistan.”
Wiese took to social media to praise Pakistani authorities, adding that during the tense situation, the team was never kept in the dark and received complete reassurance from officials.
His remarks come at a time when various foreign players, both in the PSL and IPL, are reflecting on their experiences. In contrast to Wiese’s positive feedback, New Zealand’s Alyssa Healy recently criticized security measures in India, stating that players were not kept informed during similar crises.
